Chapter 6 Response
I believe digital technologies should be used in the classroom. Having students interact with the lesson plan by taking photos and using a scanner to find and use the pictures they want to use, or having computers for research, etc, are all great ways to teach and have student interaction. However, they should not be overused. A few various digital technologies are good, but I still believe computers cannnot replace things like learning handwriting and cursive. I also would not want to use E-books. I am a fan of good old fashioned paper books. I know E-books can be conveinent for storage, but I would be afraid to have one break and then be left with no books. As I teacher I would want to incorporate technologies that assist my lesson, but not have my classroom become dependant on them.
